“I am never more “in the moment” than when outdoors painting. To stand rooted in one place, painting for two hours or until the light has changed, heightens every sense. I paint out as often as possible to stay loose and fresh in the studio. Most of these outdoor studies are kept for future reference, but a few are touched up and put up for sale. ”
