Extreme Self Confidence

September 2019 Roger and were in Haines, Alaska during the salmon run. Seagulls congregate to take advantage of fish discarded by the huge Alaskan Brown Bears. I got a series of photos of this  bear entering the river and heading straight toward this gull. The gull never so much as flinched, even when the bear passed within a few yards. I fully expected the gull to be the bear’s dinner. He was still considering that option after passing by.
