Meet Beethoven. He is one of several breeds of Livestock Guardian Dogs used worldwide for non-lethal predator control. Beethoven and his kind are brave enough to fend off bears and lions. If you are fortunate enough to encounter them when hiking, immediately leash your own dog and respect the Guardian Dogs as being “on the clock.” These dogs have a hard job. Beethoven is no longer with us. “No Bed of Roses” is a tribute to Beethoven and all working dogs.
