Mesa Verde National Park conducted a humane round up of Maestro and his band in the fall of 2022. Prior to the round up, this young mare from a different band used every way possible to seduce this big white stallion. Maestro is now living in a sanctuary in Utah with several of his older mares. Every one of the younger horses in his band has been successfully adopted through the efforts of the National Mustang Association.
